Rich Wagner, a former Minnesota resident, has lived in Minden for four years. He has four adult children and four grandchildren. He’s retired from law enforcement and from corporate security.
For three years he has volunteered at Douglas County Public Library, Food Closet and HOA Board.
Rich delivers books to those who are homebound, substitutes as needed for Food Closet pickups from donor retail sites and serves on the HOA board averaging 15-20 hours per month. He likes to stay engaged with the community, to give back, and to stay busy. His favorite aspect of volunteering is the appreciation of the clients and co-workers who are as passionate as he is. Volunteering makes Rich feel good.
