CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) is training new volunteers. Be a voice for children in court. Victim Impact Panels sees (a) speakers in court to share their stories of loss or injury as a result of a drunk or drugged driving accident. Speakers need to be detached enough from the experience to give a heart-felt presentation without anger. (b) First Responder speakers to share stories of crashes that were caused by a drunk or drugged driver. Presentations are emotional but not gruesome and help those in court to accept responsibility (not blame). Required about 30 hours a year at DUI court hearings.
